About.
A global stage for art in Asia.
The Last Supper is a weekly podcast that promotes the diversity of artistic expression in Asia with a vision to develop the most expansive public audio depository of emerging and established artists.
In the world of art, critiquing plays a vital role in facilitating meaningful discourse and addressing our dogmas. While there are people who question the value and purpose of critical analysis, I consider that well-formed criticism does not diminish the value of art or undermine what we believe in.
Instead, by hosting a global stage for critical thinkers we become more attuned with our environment and learn to accept what others intent to express. This not only enriches the listeners’ experience but the wider community too by exploring the boundaries of artistic expression.
Notable guests on The Last Supper have included:
John Batten (Art Critic, writer, curator)
Elaine Choi (Director of Art Collecting, UBS)
Joyce Ng (Head of Gallery, Asia Society)
Aaina Bhargava (Art & Culture Editor, Tatler)
Fabio Rossi (Gallery Owner, Rossi & Rossi)
Yi Gao (Head of Christie’s Education)
Georgina Hilton (Head of Classic Art, Christie’s)
Dr Koon (Department Chair Art History, HKU)
Billy Chan (Executive Director, Para Site)
Jaffa Lam (Artist, Educator, Hong Kong Art School)
And many more..
