Ep.93 | Artist Lo Yi-Chun talked about her captivating projects including "Carbohydrate Fueling Cycle I, II, III", an exploration of the history of economic crops within the global trade context. Lo Yi-Chun (b. 1985, Taipei) uses natural media such as banana peels, tobacco, and bagasse to create a wide range of objects and spatial installations that reflect on the history of economic crops in the context of global trade. In addition to exploring the relationship between agriculture and politics, her work also addresses the movement of people and commodities in the globalized world.
